In addition to treating patients with CAD, Dr. Paul is passionate with regards to the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD), specifically in patients with a family history CVD and in those with cardiometabolic risk factors including high blood pressure, diabetes, overweight and obesity, high cholesterol and familial hypercholesterolemia. As a highly experienced cardiologist, he also treats patients with symptoms of palpitations, breathlessness and requiring cardiac clearance for surgery. Dr. Paul’s goal is to identify the ‘vulnerable’ cardiac patient before the onset of cardiovascular complications and initiate evidence-based therapies as part of an overall holistic preventative treatment strategy because PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE CURE!
